Les indications conduisant \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une stomie sont diverses. Celle-ci peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e temporairement afin de mettre au repos un segment intestinal et d\u2019en favoriser la cicatrisation. Dans d\u2019autres situations, elle est cr\u00e9\u00e9e apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9section d\u2019un segment intestinal et peut \u00eatre d\u00e9finitive. Il existe alors un risque accru de d\u00e9shydratation et de d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre hydro-\u00e9lectrolytique en raison de pertes importantes d\u2019eau et d\u2019\u00e9lectrolytes, notamment de sodium. Cette complication constitue une cause fr\u00e9quente de r\u00e9hospitalisation.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Afin de pr\u00e9venir la d\u00e9shydratation, les pertes hydriques et \u00e9lectrolytiques doivent \u00eatre compens\u00e9es. La consommation de boissons hypotoniques, pauvres en \u00e9lectrolytes, doit \u00eatre limit\u00e9e. Les traitements habituellement utilis\u00e9s en cas de vomissements ou de diarrh\u00e9e ne sont pas toujours adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la prise en charge d\u2019une stomie \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit.<sup>1<\/sup> Certaines solutions de r\u00e9hydratation pr\u00e9sentent une teneur \u00e9lev\u00e9e en potassium, qui peut \u00eatre inadapt\u00e9e dans cette situation.<sup>2,3<\/sup> En cas de stomie \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit ou de syndrome de l\u2019intestin court, l\u2019utilisation d\u2019une solution isotonique sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 base de glucose et de sodium, sans potassium, est recommand\u00e9e.<sup>1<\/sup> <a href=\"https:\/\/omanda.ch\/fr\/produits\/isomix\/\">ISOMIX<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 formul\u00e9 pour r\u00e9pondre pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 cette
